Digital Content Next Looks Forward, Welcomes New Executive Committee Members

Trade association advancing the future of trusted content focuses on trusted relationships between consumers, publishers and marketers

NEW YORK, NY – (February 4, 2019) – Digital Content Next (DCN), the only trade association exclusively dedicated to trusted, high-quality digital content brands, announced updates to its 2019 Executive Committee after convening members in Orlando, FL January 28-30 at the DCN Next: Summit, its annual, members-only conference.

DCN’s Executive Committee provides on-the-ground perspective on important issues that impact various business areas and the digital media industry overall. In the four years since DCN launched, it has served as a strategic partner for its membership through educational events, industry-leading research and driving opportunities for revenue growth and diversity. DCN has become an active voice in the agenda of the news and entertainment industry and will continue to shine a light on any misconceptions in the modern digital marketplace.”

The 2019 Executive Committee officers are: Chair: M. Scott Havens, global head of digital, Bloomberg Media; Vice Chair: Loren Mayor, president of operations, NPR; Treasurer: Michael Finnegan, president, Atlantic Media; and Secretary: Evelyn Webster, CEO of Guardian US & Australia; Debby Krenek, co-publisher, Newsday Media Group; and Alex Skatell, founder and CEO, Independent Journal Review.

New to the DCN Executive Committee this year, announced at a members-only board meeting on January 28, are: Jason Jordan, EVP, multiplatform strategy & operations, Viacom Media Networks and Stan Pavlovsky, EVP, president, Meredith Digital.

Martin Nisenholtz, founder of Digital Content Next (formerly the Online Publishers Association), Marty Moe, president of Vox Media and Christy Tanner, EVP & GM, CBS News Digital, former chairs of the Executive Committee, will also continue to serve as special advisors to the organization.

DCN continues to expand the diversity of its membership, adding seven companies in 2018.
