Janet Peyton and Bethany Gayle Lukitsch, partners at McGuireWoods LLP, prepared an analysis of The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (AB 375) for Digital Content Next. The bill, which was was recently approved by the California Legislature and signed by Governor Jerry Brown, provides consumers with significant controls over how their personal information is collected and disseminated by businesses.
